El estar sumidos en una profunda crisis económica, altera todo el sistema de valores social, hasta el punto de no poder predecir el alcance real que tendrá para las generaciones actuales y para las que vendrán, teniendo en cuenta que la falta de financiación produce un efecto dominó donde van cayendo, una tras otra, todas las piezas que mantienen las estructuras del engranaje social y del estado del bienestar. Desde mediados del pasado siglo, después de las grandes guerras, que se comenzó la reconstrucción de las sociedades modernas, poniendo nuevas bases a valores fundamentales y estilos de vida, hasta la actualidad, se ha tenido que trabajar muy duro para que prosperara el planteamiento perseguido.
